Developing People and Career Paths

This workshop matches the desires of the employee and the goals of the organization to help supervisors and managers map an employee plan of growth . The Employee Development Plan, designed as a replacement for the standard Performance Evaluation, is explained and practiced in several logical steps. A Competency Model is used to outline core competencies needed to achieve organizational goals. The workshop will end with an exercise to create a career path for all attendees. Designing your own growth plan is great practice in understanding how to design growth plans for others.

Developing Your Career

The Employee Development Plan requires input from both supervisor and employee to match the desires of the organization with the desires of the employee. This workshop is designed to help the employees understand their own goals, the goals of the organization, and the areas of alignment. It provides the knowledge necessary to participate with the supervisor and organizational partners to form a plan for personal development.
