MS Excel Level I

This is an introductory class to Microsoft Excel 2003 spreadsheets. Through a practical applied approach, students will learn toolbar navigation, data table best practices, sort, filter, data formatting, basic formulas, data edit options and printing setup.

MS Excel Level II

This Microsoft Excel 2003 class is for professionals who use Excel for everyday activities. Students will learn advanced data manipulation such as text to columns, advanced formatting, data validation, charts, pivot tables and form development through a practical applied approach.

MS Excel Level III

This Microsoft Excel 2003 class is for professionals who are looking to get the most out of Excel as efficiently as possible. Students will learn advanced formulas, pivot tables and macro development through the examination their real world data problems. We suggest the completion of Excel Level I and II before attending this class.

MS Word

This Microsoft Word 2003 course covers all aspects of MS Word from word processing, template development and mail merge. Students will become more effective and efficient in their use of word upon completion of this course.

MS Access Level I

This is an introductory class to Microsoft Access 2003 databases. Students will learn the difference between a database and a list, how to develop their own simple database, simple queries, simple forms and reports.

MS Visio Level I

This comprehensive course covers the basics of Microsoft Visio 2003 where the students gain the knowledge to develop simple and specialized diagrams utilizing key tools in Visio. Upon completion of this course students will be able to quickly and easily produce advanced diagrams.

MS Project Level I

This is an introductory class to Microsoft Project 2003. Students will learn how to set up projects, add tasks, associate predecessors, add resources, deadlines and develop Gantt charts for presentations through a practical applied approach.

AutoCAD

The AutoCAD training course includes all basic drawing, editing, utility commands, file management, and system operations. Projects incorporate basic techniques of drawing and computer-aided drafting. The AutoCAD training course builds on the drawing basics learned to advanced two-dimensional options to three-dimensional 3-D modeling. Training includes an introduction to grips, attributes, external files, wire-frame, surface, region, solid and parametric modeling techniques. This training provides a comprehensive study of views, view-ports and moving through three-dimensional space.

Drawing Interpretation (Blueprint Reading)

This course covers the majority of information required to understand basic mechanical two-dimensional engineering drawings. Topics covered are: basic drawing elements (formats, title block, parts list, revision block, etc.), part views (multiview, auxiliary, and isometric), section views, general dimensions, tolerances, finish symbols, and welding symbols. This course is recommended for manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and design personnel but is excellent for anyone new to blueprint reading.
