ISO 9000
This course provides the fundamentals for understanding the ISO 9001 standard and how it fits into an organization. The course discusses the critical elements needed to achieve certification, and takes a business view that is applicable to any organization. It is particularly designed for personnel who want to learn how to proceed in an orderly way to achieve ISO 9001 registration. This course will help participants to satisfy the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and maximize the business value to their organization. Each clause is discussed in depth, addressing necessary procedures and implementation, including details of how to achieve registration.
ISO 1400
This course is designed as both an introduction to and a Management Overview of ISO14000. ISO 14000 is a voluntary and emerging standard for Environmental Management Systems. It was based upon the ISO 9000 family of specifications. Students learn how and why ISO14000 can become a significant marketplace advantage. ISO14000 encourages cost saving by integrating environmental requirements into company systems including design and manufacturing.
QMS Process Auditing
This workshop focuses on audit techniques applicable to any Management System. Participants will learn the Process Auditing Model, a model applicable to Process Auditing, the ISO19011 auditing guidelines, and all Quality Management System standards. In this workshop, attendees will audit company processes under the direction of a certified Lead Auditor. The workshop also includes auditing a non-documented process so that participants learn to audit the 'implied to be required' procedures that exist in ISO9001:2000. Participants leave with practical knowledge and actual experience in process auditing.
Internal Audits
This is an extensive course that contains the specific requirements of the ISO9001 standard and how they relate to the big picture view of the company. It includes hands-on process auditing exercises that utilize your own QMS documentation, or specially developed QMS documentation designed by professional auditors. Students learn to develop process audit skills in a measured approach that improves long-term results for the company. Development of root cause, corrective action, verification, and closure is also discussed. Attendees will gain experience in auditing and writing effective, objective reports to provide management the opportunity to make more effective corrective actions. This course provides the chance to practice auditing in a controlled, classroom environment under the guidance of internationally certified auditors.
