Culture Management
The simple definition of culture is “That set of beliefs which governs behavior.” But anyone who has tried to put their arms around this dynamic thing we call culture knows there is nothing simple about it. According to Edgar Schein, proclaimed by Warren Bennis to be the man who “knows more about corporate culture… than just about anyone,” culture is a group phenomenon, shared tacit assumptions about the way the world works.
Culture is like a pyramid. The base is created by our values and beliefs. From our values and beliefs come policies and practices. Relationships are formed by the way we implement our policies and practices. On the tip of the pyramid, we place the Organization Chart, the reporting structure of the organization.
Every organization has a culture. It grows with or without your help. This workshop can help you create the one you want.
Making Change Work
This workshop provides practical tools for overcoming human resistance to change. It includes hands-on demonstration of innovative tools used to measure and overcome resistance. This course, based on the book of the same name, has been presented internationally.
Situation Analysis
This exercise walks individuals through planning and conducting an evaluation of internal and external stakeholders’ perceptions. We will help you create a plan that will evaluate current products and services to identify areas of strength, weakness and missed opportunity, including expansion of an existing product line or service and new markets not currently offered within your organization. Finally, you will learn how to conduct a complete competitive analysis that provides details to help you determine your position in the current market.
Innovation
To keep up with today's constantly changing competitive environment, it is important for individuals and organizations to be agile. And yet in many organizations creativity remains an underutilized asset. Building a culture of creativity and innovation positions organizations to deliver products and services that are valuable to customers, and build a more vibrant and engaged workforce.

Redesigning the Organization

Individual perceptions are discussed through group exercises, and the tools of the Learning Organization are used to create a shared understanding. This understanding is developed into a plan to create and measure results while leveraging the power of different perspectives in creating change.
